Cream Of Broccoli SoupMakes 7 Cups Low In Cholesterol
Ingredients
- 3 12 c two 14 12 oz cans chicken broth
- 2 lb fresh broccoli cut into 3-inch pieces
- 1 c chopped onion
- 1 garlic clove minced
- 1 c dry Carnation nonfat dry milk
- 14 c all-purpose flour
- 1 c water
- 14 tsp salt
- 14 tsp pepper
Directions
- Heat broth in large saucepan to boiling
- Add broccoli onion and garlic
- Cover
- Simmer for 7 to 10 minutes or until broccoli is tender
- Remove from heat
- Cool for 5 to 7 minutes
- Puree vegetables and broth in blender or food processor until desired consistency
- Process in two or three batches if necessary Return to pan
