Ingredients

  • 3 12 c two 14 12 oz cans chicken broth
  • 2 lb fresh broccoli cut into 3-inch pieces
  • 1 c chopped onion
  • 1 garlic clove minced
  • 1 c dry Carnation nonfat dry milk
  • 14 c all-purpose flour
  • 1 c water
  • 14 tsp salt
  • 14 tsp pepper

Directions

  1. Heat broth in large saucepan to boiling
  2. Add broccoli onion and garlic
  3. Cover
  4. Simmer for 7 to 10 minutes or until broccoli is tender
  5. Remove from heat
  6. Cool for 5 to 7 minutes
  7. Puree vegetables and broth in blender or food processor until desired consistency
  8. Process in two or three batches if necessary Return to pan
