Cream Of Corn Soup

Ingredients

  • 2 strips bacon finely chopped
  • 2 Tbsp finely chopped onion
  • 2 c frozen or fresh corn
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 2 Tbsp flour
  • 2 c milk
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 12 tsp pepper
  • 2 c light cream

Directions

  1. Fry finely chopped bacon until crisp add onion and saute until soft
  2. Put corn through a food chopper add to onion and bacon
  3. Cook until begins to brown
  4. Add butter then flour
  5. Cook slowly for 3 minutes
  6. Add milk salt and pepper cook until thickened
  7. Then add cream heat and stir until smooth
