Cream Puff Coffee Cake

Ingredients
- 1 c. butter or margarine
- 2 c. flour
- 3 eggs
- 1 c. plus 2 Tbsp. water
- 1 tsp. almond extract
Directions
- Combine 1/2 cup butter and 1 cup flour.
- Mix as for pie crust. Add 2 tablespoons water.
- Form into ball; divide in half.
- Pat onto ungreased cookie sheet 3 x 12-inches.
- Heat to boiling 1 cup water and 1/2 cup butter.
- Add 1 cup flour after removing from heat.
- Mix well.
- Add eggs 1 at a time.
- Beat mixture well.
- Add almond extract.
- Spread on crust.
- Bake at 350° for 55 minutes.
- Frost when cool.
