Creamed Chicken
Ingredients
- 3 lb whole chicken
- water to cover
- salt to taste
- 1 14 c flour and water to mix
Directions
- Cook the chicken in enough water to cover until tender
- Pick off bone return chicken to broth
- Bring to a boil
- Thicken with flour mixture
- This amount depends on the thickness you want Cook and stir well
- A few drops of yellow food coloring adds color
- Serve over biscuits or mashed potatoes
