Creamy Carrot Nut MoldSalad

Ingredients

  • 1 6 oz pkg orange gelatin
  • 2 c boiling water
  • 1 c sour cream
  • 1 13 12 oz can crushed pineapple do not drain
  • 2 c grated carrots
  • 12 c chopped walnuts or pecans

Directions

  1. Lightly oil a 2-quart mold with cooking oil
  2. Pour boiling water over gelatin in bowl and stir until gelatin is completely dissolved
  3. Gradually add gelatin mixture to sour cream stirring until well blended
  4. Stir until mixture begins to jell
  5. Stir in pineapple carrots and nuts
  6. Turn into mold and chill until firm about 4 hours
  7. Unmold onto salad greens
