Creamy Carrot Nut MoldSalad
Ingredients
- 1 6 oz pkg orange gelatin
- 2 c boiling water
- 1 c sour cream
- 1 13 12 oz can crushed pineapple do not drain
- 2 c grated carrots
- 12 c chopped walnuts or pecans
Directions
- Lightly oil a 2-quart mold with cooking oil
- Pour boiling water over gelatin in bowl and stir until gelatin is completely dissolved
- Gradually add gelatin mixture to sour cream stirring until well blended
- Stir until mixture begins to jell
- Stir in pineapple carrots and nuts
- Turn into mold and chill until firm about 4 hours
- Unmold onto salad greens
