Creamy Chicken And Rice Soup

Ingredients

• 1 c cubed chicken breast
• 12 stick butter
• 7 c water
• 1 pkg chicken flavored rice Rice-A-Roni
• 2 chicken flavored bouillon cubes
• 1 tsp chopped parsley
• 2 tsp onion flakes
• 12 c chopped canned mushrooms
• 1 c sour cream 8 oz
• 12 c milk

Directions

1. Remove skin and bone from chicken
2. Cut in 12-inch cubes Melt butter in a 4-quart saucepan and stir in chicken pieces Cook until tender turning occasionally
3. Add 1 cup water flavor package from rice bouillon cubes parsley and onion
4. Bring to a boil and stir until bouillon is melted
5. Add rice mushrooms remaining water and milk
6. Reduce heat to low and simmer covered for 30 minutes
7. Gently fluff rice
8. Remove from heat
9. Blend in sour cream and garnish with chopped parsley
10. Serves 8
