Creamy Corn Chowder
Ingredients
- 4 oz bacon diced
- 1 green pepper chopped
- 2 12 c chicken broth
- 1 15 oz can creamed corn
- 1 tsp paprika
- salt to taste
- 1 c onion
- 2 Tbsp bacon dripping
- 2 c potatoes diced
- 1 tsp paprika
- 12 tsp pepper
- 2 c milk or condensed milk
Directions
- Brown bacon in Dutch oven and drain reserving 2 tablespoons of drippings
- Saute onion and green pepper in drippings until soft Add chicken broth and diced potatoes
- Bring to a boil and simmer until potatoes are cooked
- Add creamed corn seasonings bacon and milk
- Heat through
