Creamy Hash Browns

Ingredients
- 6 Tbsp bacon drippings or butter
- 6 c diced raw potatoes
- 1 medium size onion chopped 12 c
- 1 tsp salt
- 14 tsp pepper
- 1 small can evaporated milk
Directions
- Melt drippings or butter in large frying pan stir in potatoes onion salt and pepper
- Cover cook over low heat 10 minutes
- Uncover stir from bottom of pan then saute over low heat turning often for 15 minutes
- Pour evaporated milk over heat stirring gently 1 to 2 minutes longer
- Serves 6
