Crescent Casserole

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 1 c dry bread crumbs
  • 1 Tbsp mustard
  • 3 lb lean ground beef
  • 2 Tbsp onion
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 Tbsp catsup
  • 1 can crescent rolls

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients except dough and press mixture into a loaf pan
  2. Bake in a preheated 350 oven for 1 12 hours
  3. Cool in pan for 5 minutes
  4. Drain off fat and invert meat loaf onto a cookie sheet
  5. Separate roll of dough into 4 rectangles
  6. Overlap slightly on a pastry cloth or floured board to form a large rectangle
  7. Roll out to 10 x 5 inches
  8. Drape over meat
  9. Trim excess
  10. Bake in 325 oven for 15 to 20 minutes
  11. Yields 6 to 8 servings
