Crisco Pastry For Double Crust

Ingredients

  • 2 c sifted all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 34 c Crisco shortening
  • 3 to 4 Tbsp cold water

Directions

  1. Combine flour and salt in a mixing bowl
  2. Cut Crisco with pastry blender or 2 knives until mixture is fairly coarse Sprinkle with water
  3. When it forms a firm ball pull into 2 parts and roll out on a floured board
  4. Roll into a circle
  5. Makes 2 9-inch pie crusts
