Crisp Oatmeal Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 c shortening
• 1 c brown sugar
• 1 c white sugar
• 3 c oatmeal
• 1 c nuts
• 2 eggs
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 1 12 c flour
• 1 tsp salt
• 12 tsp soda

Directions

1. Cream the shortening and sugars Add eggs oatmeal and vanilla Sift dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture
2. Add nuts
3. Mix thoroughly
4. Drop by teaspoon on greased cookie sheet Bake at 350 for 10 minutes
5. Makes approximately 120 cookies
