Crock-Pot Camp Stew

Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground beef or turkey
  • 2 16 oz cans tomatoes
  • 3 5 oz cans chicken or turkey
  • 2 16 oz cans creamed corn
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1 lemon unpeeled sliced very thin
  • 1 14 oz bottle ketchup
  • 14 tsp Tabasco sauce may be adjusted to taste

Directions

  1. Brown ground beef and drain well
  2. Add to other ingredients in crock-pot
  3. Stir well cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours high for 2 to 3 hours
  4. Serve with tossed salad and crusty French bread for a quick and easy meal
