Crock-Pot Chili
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 c dry cleaned kidney beans
- 1 c dry cleaned pinto beans
- 1 medium onion chopped
- 1 green pepper chopped
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 5 c tomatoes skinned and chopped in food processor
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tsp chili powder
- 1 12 tsp cumin
- grated Cheddar cheese
Directions
- Brown ground beef and drain thoroughly
- Combine remaining ingredients except cheese in crock-pot
- Add beef
- Add water until crock-pot is 23 full
- Cook on low at least 5 hours
- Top with grated cheese and serve with corn muffins
- Yield 6 servings
