Crock-Pot Dressing
Ingredients
- 1 c butter or margarine
- 2 c chopped onion
- 2 c chopped celery
- 14 c parsley
- 2 8 oz cans mushrooms drained
- 12 to 13 c dried bread crumbs
- 1 tsp poultry seasoning
- 1 12 tsp sage
- 1 tsp thyme
- 12 tsp pepper
- 12 tsp marjoram
- 3 12 to 4 12 c chicken broth
- 2 well beaten eggs
Directions
- Melt butter in skillet
- Saute onion celery parsley and mushrooms Pour over bread crumbs in large mixing bowl
- Add seasonings and toss to mix well Pour enough broth over to moisten
- Add water and eggs and mix
- Pack lightly in crock-pot Cover and cook on high for 45 minutes then on low for 4 to 8 hours
