Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef cubed
  • 2 lb fresh mushrooms diced in processor
  • 1 34 c barley
  • salt and pepper

Directions

  1. Microwave meat first or else put in crock-pot and cook until half done
  2. Add barley and mushrooms fill pot to within 1 inch of top with stock or water
  3. Cook 3 to 4 hours until barley is done Season to taste
