Crock-Pot Roast Beef
Ingredients
- 2 to 3 potatoes peeled and thinly sliced
- 2 to 3 carrots peeled and thinly sliced
- 1 to 2 onions peeled and sliced
- 1 12 tsp salt
- 14 tsp pepper
- 3 to 4 lb brisket rump roast or pot roast may be used
- 14 c water or beef consomme
Directions
- Place vegetables in bottom of crock-pot
- Salt and pepper meat
- Place into pot
- Add liquid and cover
- Cook on low for 10 to 12 hours high 5 to 6 hours
- Remove meat and vegetables with spoon
- Thicken remaining liquid for gravy if desired
