Crunch  Creamy Hash Brown Bake

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs shredded hash browns
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 16 oz container of sour cream
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 12 c chopped onion can substitute dried onion but lessen quantity to 18 cup
  • 2 c cheddar cheese
  • 2 c crushed chex or rice krispies
  • milk

Directions

  1. In a large bowl combine half of margarine melted hash browns sour cream chicken soup onions and a chicken soup can full of milk
  2. Put in a 9x13 pan salt and pepper to taste
  3. Top with shredded cheddar cheese
  4. Pour other half of melted margarine over crushed cereal and mix sprinkle on top
  5. Bake at 350 for 1 hour
