Crunch Top Broccoli Bake
Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp oleo
- 2 Tbsp flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 12 tsp sugar
- 14 tsp pepper
- 12 tsp grated onion
- 1 c sour cream
- 3 c fresh broccoli flowerets steamed until tender
- 1 12 c Rice Chex
- 1 12 c grated processed Swiss or Cheddar cheese or combo of both
Directions
- Heat oleo in small saucepan until melted
- Stir in flour salt pepper sugar and onion
- Add sour cream
- Stir until smooth Cook stirring constantly until mixture comes just to boiling point
- Fold in broccoli
- Pour into 1 12-quart greased baking dish
- Toss together Chex cereal and cheese and sprinkle over broccoli mixture
- Bake in preheated 350 oven about 20 minutes or until bubbly
- Serves 6
