Crunchy Baked Chicken
Ingredients
- 14 c butter or margarine
- 14 tsp pepper
- 1 2 12 to 3 lb frying chicken cut up
- 14 tsp seasoned salt
- 12 c cornflake crumbs
Directions
- Place butter in a 2-quart glass baking dish Microwave at 70 power 1 12 to 2 minutes until melted
- Combine salt and pepper with cornflake crumbs
- Roll chicken in the melted butter then in the seasoned crumbs
- Place the chicken pieces skin side up with the thick edges toward the outside of the dish Microwave uncovered 6 to 7 minutes per pound
- Turn the dish halfway through the cooking time
- Let stand 3 minutes before serving
