Crunchy Fudge Sandwiches

Ingredients

• 1 6 oz pkg Nestle butterscotch flavored morsels 1 c
• 12 c peanut butter
• 4 c Kelloggs Rice Krispies cereal
• 1 6 oz pkg Nestle semi-sweet real chocolate morsels 1 c
• 12 c sifted confectioners sugar
• 2 Tbsp margarine or butter softened
• 1 Tbsp water

Directions

1. In a large saucepan melt butterscotch flavored morsels and peanut butter over very low heat stirring constantly until smooth Stir in cereal
2. Press half of the mixture in buttered 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan
3. Chill
4. Set remaining mixture aside
5. Melt over hot not boiling water the chocolate morsels sugar margarine and water stirring constantly until smooth
6. Spread over chilled cereal mixture
7. Spread remaining cereal mixture evenly over top Press in gently
8. Chill until firm 1 hour
9. Yields 25 squares 1 12 x 1 12-inch
