Crunchy Surprise Bars

Ingredients

• 1 c sugar
• 1 c butter softened
• 14 c molasses
• 1 egg yolk
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 2 c flour
• 1 12 oz pkg chocolate bits
• 1 c peanuts
• 13 c peanut butter or use 13 c crunchy peanut butter

Directions

1. Mix sugar butter molasses egg yolk and vanilla with a spoon
2. Stir in flour and 1 cup of chocolate bits
3. Press dough in an ungreased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan
4. Bake until golden brown 25 to 30 minutes at 350
