Cucumber Buns

Ingredients

  • 3 34 to 4 c flour
  • 1 pkg active dry yeast
  • 1 Tbsp dried chives
  • 12 tsp dill weed
  • 1 medium cucumber peeled and cut up 1 12 c
  • 12 c sour cream
  • 14 c water
  • 1 Tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt

Directions

  1. In large bowl combine 1 12 cups flour yeast chives and dill weed
  2. In food processor bowl process cucumber until smooth should have 34 cup
  3. In a saucepan heat and stir cucumber puree sour cream sugar water and salt until warm
  4. Add to flour mixture
  5. Beat with mixer for 30 seconds on medium
  6. Beat on high speed for 3 minutes
  7. Using spoon stir in as much of remaining flour as you can
  8. Knead shape into ball
  9. Place in greased bowl Cover let rise until double 45 minutes
  10. Punch down turn onto floured surface
  11. Cover for 10 minutes
  12. Shape into 12 balls arrange on baking pan
  13. Cover let rise until nearly double 30 minutes
  14. Bake at 350 for 20 to 25 minutes or until light brown
