Currant Scones
Ingredients
- 2 c flour
- 3 tsp baking powder
- 14 c butter
- 533 oz can evaporated milk
- 1 egg
- 14 c sugar
- 14 tsp salt
- 23 c currants
- sugar
Directions
- Heat oven to 400
- Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup In medium bowl combine flour sugar baking powder and salt Blend well
- Using fork etc cut butter until mixture is crumbly Stir in currants
- Combine milk and egg add all at once stirring just until moist
