Curried Shrimp

Ingredients
- 3 lb medium shrimp
- 9 c water
- 14 c butter
- 1 12 tsp curry powder
- 14 c chopped fresh parsley
- 12 c chopped green bell pepper
- 12 c chopped celery
- 5 Tbsp flour
- 12 tsp garlic salt
- 34 tsp salt
- 3 c milk
- 1 12 c shredded Cheddar cheese
- 14 c chopped pimento
Directions
- Drop shrimp into boiling water in saucepan
- Return to a boil reduce heat
- Simmer for 3 to 5 minutes or until done to taste drain and rinse with cold water
- Chill in refrigerator
- Peel and devein shrimp
- Melt butter in heavy saucepan over medium heat Stir in curry powder parsley green pepper and celery
- Cook for 2 minutes stirring occasionally
- Add flour garlic salt and salt mix well
- Cook for 1 minute stirring constantly reduce heat
- Stir in milk gradually
- Cook until thickened stirring constantly
- Stir in cheese until melted
- Add shrimp and pimento Heat to serving temperature stirring constantly
- Yield
