Ingredients

  • 1 9-inch unbaked pie shell
  • 4 eggs slightly beaten
  • 23 c sugar
  • 14 tsp salt
  • 2 12 c scalded milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 14 tsp nutmeg

Directions

  1. Combine in mixing bowl eggs sugar salt milk and vanilla Pour into a 9-inch pie shell
  2. Sprinkle with nutmeg
  3. Bake at 400 for 35 minutes or until knife inserted comes out clean
