Custard Pie Filling

Ingredients

  • 3 large eggs
  • 13 c sugar
  • 18 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 18 tsp nutmeg
  • 2 c milk
  • 1 9-inch pie shell

Directions

  1. Beat eggs
  2. Stir in sugar salt vanilla nutmeg and scalded milk then pour into egg mixture
  3. Pour into pastry shell Sprinkle with nutmeg
  4. Bake at 425 for 22 minutes or until firm Cool and serve
