Ingredients
- 3 lb chicken
- 8 c water
- 1 tsp salt
- 3 Tbsp cinnamon
- 2 c long grain rice
- 12 c dried apricots
- 12 c raisins
- 12 c nuts almonds walnuts or cashews
- 14 c butter
- 2 Tbsp oil
Directions
- Place chicken water and spices in large heavy kettle Dutch oven
- Boil over high heat skimming fat for 5 minutes
- Reduce heat simmer 1 hour
- Drain chicken reserve stock Debone chicken
