Dandelion Jelly

Ingredients

  • 1 qt dandelion blossoms without stems
  • 1 qt water
  • 1 pkg Sure-Jell
  • 1 tsp lemon or orange extract
  • 4 12 c sugar

Directions

  1. Boil blossoms in 1 quart of water for about 3 minutes only Drain off
  2. Add 3 cups juice to Sure-Jell and lemon or orange extract
  3. Bring to a boil
  4. Add sugar
  5. Boil about 3 minutes
  6. Can seal and process 5 minutes in boiling water bath
  7. Makes 5 12 pints
