Danish Pastry Apple Bars

Ingredients
- 2 12 c flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 c shortening
- 1 egg yolk reserve egg white
- enough milk to make 23 c with egg yolk
- 2 handfuls cornflakes crushed
- 8 apples
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 c sugar
- 1 c powdered sugar
- 1 Tbsp water
Directions
- Mix together and drizzle over bars while warm
