Danish Pudding Cake

Ingredients
- 1 c margarine or butter softened
- 1 34 c sugar
- 12 tsp salt
- 3 eggs
- 1 c buttermilk
- 1 Tbsp orange juice
- 1 Tbsp orange peel
- 3 c flour
- 1 14 tsp soda
- 1 c dates chopped
- 1 c pecans chopped
Directions
- Blend first seven ingredients until creamy
- Add remaining ingredients and stir until well blended
- Pour into a greased and floured tube cake pan
