Danish Pudding Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 c margarine or butter softened
  • 1 34 c sugar
  • 12 tsp salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 c buttermilk
  • 1 Tbsp orange juice
  • 1 Tbsp orange peel
  • 3 c flour
  • 1 14 tsp soda
  • 1 c dates chopped
  • 1 c pecans chopped

Directions

  1. Blend first seven ingredients until creamy
  2. Add remaining ingredients and stir until well blended
  3. Pour into a greased and floured tube cake pan
