Dark Chocolate Drop Cookies
Ingredients
- 14 c margarine
- 2 12 sq unsweetened chocolate pieces
- 1 c sugar
- 12 tsp salt
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 34 c sifted cake flour
- 1 12 tsp baking powder
- 12 c milk
- 12 c pecans or walnuts
Directions
- Melt butter and chocolate in a double boiler
- Cream egg and chocolate mixture with sugar and salt
- Beat until the mixture is light and smooth then add vanilla
- Sift flour and baking powder Add the flour and baking powder alternately with the milk into the creamed mixture
- Work in the nuts
- Drop by teaspoon on ungreased cookie sheets
- Bake at 375 for 8 minutes or until done
- Makes 6 dozen
