Date-Pecan Pie

Ingredients
- 1 8 oz pkg chopped dates
- 1 c pecans coarsely chopped
- 14 c all-purpose flour
- 2 c sugar
- 34 c butter softened
- 1 12 tsp vanilla extract
- pinch of salt
- 4 eggs separated
- 34 c milk
- 2 unbaked 9-inch pastry shells
Directions
- Combine dates pecans and flour stir well and set aside Combine sugar butter vanilla and salt in a large mixing bowl mix well
- Add egg yolks and milk mixing well
- Stir in pecans and dates
