Date-Pecan Pie

Ingredients

• 1 8 oz pkg chopped dates
• 1 c pecans coarsely chopped
• 14 c all-purpose flour
• 2 c sugar
• 34 c butter softened
• 1 12 tsp vanilla extract
• pinch of salt
• 4 eggs separated
• 34 c milk
• 2 unbaked 9-inch pastry shells

Directions

1. Combine dates pecans and flour stir well and set aside Combine sugar butter vanilla and salt in a large mixing bowl mix well
2. Add egg yolks and milk mixing well
3. Stir in pecans and dates
