Date Loaf Candy

Ingredients

• 3 c sugar
• 1 c Pet milk
• 1 8 oz pkg dates chopped
• pinch of salt
• 1 c pecans
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 12 stick oleo

Directions

1. Cook sugar and milk until it boils
2. Add dates and salt Cook to soft ball stage
3. Add oleo nuts and vanilla
4. Beat until firm and holds shape on spoon
5. Pour candy in row on wet cup towel
6. Roll
7. When cold slice
