Date Nut Cake
Ingredients
- 8 eggs
- 2 c sugar
- 2 c flour
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 2 lb nuts picked out and chopped
- 2 lb dates cut up
Directions
- Beat eggs
- until
- light
- Flour dates with 1 cup flour Beat sugar and eggs together
- Add the 2 cups flour then rest of ingredients
- If

- dont
- use enough nuts use 2 tablespoons shortening
- Cook
- at
- 275 about 1 hour and 10 minutes if using 3 small pans
- Cook longer if using large pan
