Date Nut Cake

Ingredients

• 1 lb chopped dates
• 1 qt chopped pecans
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 12 lb butter
• 2 c sugar
• 2 c flour
• 4 eggs

Directions

1. Boil sugar and butter Let cool Roll dates in flour Add eggs and vanilla to sugar mix Stir in dates and flour a little at a time Add pecans Bake at 250 for 2 12 hours
