Date Pudding
Ingredients
- 1 14 c flour
- 1 c sugar
- 1 c dates 12 lb
- 12 c nuts
- 1 egg beaten
- 1 Tbsp butter
- 1 c hot water
- 1 tsp soda
Directions
- Put the hot water and soda over the dates and let stand while you mix up the rest then put all together
- Cook 1 cup brown sugar and 1 12 cups boiling water until sugar dissolves
- Pour over pudding batter before baking
- Bake in 350 oven for 35 to 40 minutes
