Deer Stew

Ingredients

  • 1 12 lb diced deer meat
  • 1 large onion
  • salt and pepper to season
  • 1 Tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp crushed red pepper
  • 1 tsp crushed basil leaves
  • 6 potatoes
  • 4 carrots
  • 3 strips bacon

Directions

  1. Cut deer up into small pieces boil for about 1 hour and a half on medium-high
  2. Dice onion potatoes and carrots add to boiled meat after half hour cooking
  3. Add all other ingredients and continue cooking for the other hour
  4. Serves 3 to 6
