Delicious Prune Cake

Ingredients

• 3 eggs
• 1 12 c sugar
• 1 c oil
• 2 c flour
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 1 tsp allspice
• 1 tsp nutmeg
• 1 tsp cinnamon
• 12 tsp salt
• 34 c buttermilk
• 1 c prunes cooked and cut in pieces
• 1 c chopped nuts
• 1 tsp vanilla

Directions

1. Beat eggs
2. Add sugar and oil and beat well
3. Mix dry ingredients and add alternately with buttermilk
4. Add nuts prunes and vanilla and bake at 350 for 30 minutes
5. Remove from oven and poke cake full of holes with a fork and pour the topping over the cake hot and spread
