Delicious Sour Cream Cake

Ingredients

• 12 lb butter
• 3 c sugar
• 6 eggs separated
• 1 c commercial sour cream
• 3 c cake flour
• 12 tsp salt
• 1 tsp baking powder
• 1 tsp vanilla

Directions

1. Cream the butter and sugar thoroughly Add beaten egg yolks Add sour cream alternately with flour salt and baking powder Add stiffly beaten egg whites after flour
2. Bake at 375 approximately 45 minutes or 1 hour or until done when tested with a straw Bake in angel food pan
3. Not necessary to ice just a little sifted powdered sugar on top
4. Delicious
