Deluxe Crackers

Ingredients

  • 2 c rolled oats
  • 12 c pecans
  • 12 c coconut
  • 1 12 c flour
  • 1 Tbsp packed dark brown sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 23 c water
  • 12 c corn oil
  • coarse pretzel salt

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 325
  2. Place oats in a processor container and process until fine
  3. Add pecans and process again
  4. Add coconut and again process to blend well
  5. Add flour sugar salt water and oil
  6. Process on pulse until a dough forms
  7. Divide dough in half
  8. Roll each half onto a 11 x 16-inch jelly roll pan
  9. A straight sided glass works well as a rolling pin
  10. Dough will be thin
  11. Sprinkle with salt
  12. Cut dough into diamonds squares or strips before baking
  13. Bake about 30 minutes until crisp and browned
  14. Store airtight
  15. Great with dips or spreads or even plain
