DevilS Food Cake

Ingredients
- 34 c butter or margarine softened
- 1 12 c sugar
- 1 12 tsp vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 1 34 c unsifted all-purpose flour
- 12 c Hersheys cocoa
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 14 tsp salt
- 12 c buttermilk or sour milk
- 12 c boiling water
Directions
- Cream butter sugar and vanilla in large mixer bowl until light and fluffy
- Add eggs beat well
- Combine flour cocoa baking soda and salt add alternately with buttermilk to creamed mixture
- Add boiling water beat until smooth
- Pour into waxed paper-lined 13 x 9-inch pan
- Bake at 350 for 35 to 40 minutes or until cake tester comes out clean
- Cool 10 minutes remove cake from pan
- Cool completely Frost as desired
