Dillicious Pot Roast
Ingredients
- 4 slices bacon
- 3 to 4 lb beef pot roast
- 1 tsp lemon pepper marinade
- 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 can golden mushroom soup
- 12 c dill pickle chopped fine
Directions
- In heavy saucepan cook bacon until crisp
- Drain off all but 2 tablespoons bacon drippings from pan
- Crumble bacon set aside Sprinkle both sides of beef with lemon pepper marinade
- Brown beef in bacon drippings
- Combine mushroom soup dill pickle and Worcestershire sauce pour over browned meat
- Cover simmer for about 2 12 hours or until meat is tender
- Remove to warm platter
- Sprinkle with crumbled bacon
- Skim fat from gravy serve with roast
