Dilly Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg active dry yeast
  • 14 c warm water 110 to 115
  • 1 c cottage cheese I put mine in blender warm it
  • 1 Tbsp oleo
  • 2 Tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 14 tsp baking soda
  • 1 Tbsp instant onion
  • 2 tsp dill seed
  • 1 egg
  • 2 14 to 2 12 c all-purpose flour I use more 2 12 to 3 c

Directions

  1. Soften yeast in 14 cup warm water let stand 10 minutes Combine cottage cheese oleo salt sugar and baking soda
  2. Stir Add onion dill egg and softened yeast
  3. Beat well
  4. Add flour gradually
  5. Cover with wet cloth
  6. Let raise in warm place until double in bulk
  7. Stir dough down knead and pinch into loaf pan proportions
  8. Let rise 30 to 40 minutes
