Dilly Bread
Ingredients
- 1 pkg active dry yeast
- 14 c warm water 110 to 115
- 1 c cottage cheese I put mine in blender warm it
- 1 Tbsp oleo
- 2 Tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 14 tsp baking soda
- 1 Tbsp instant onion
- 2 tsp dill seed
- 1 egg
- 2 14 to 2 12 c all-purpose flour I use more 2 12 to 3 c
Directions
- Soften yeast in 14 cup warm water let stand 10 minutes Combine cottage cheese oleo salt sugar and baking soda
- Stir Add onion dill egg and softened yeast
- Beat well
- Add flour gradually
- Cover with wet cloth
- Let raise in warm place until double in bulk
- Stir dough down knead and pinch into loaf pan proportions
- Let rise 30 to 40 minutes
