Dipped Gingersnaps

Ingredients

  • 2 Cups Sugar
  • 1 12 Cups Vegetable Oil
  • 2 Eggs
  • 12 Cup Molasses
  • 4 Cups Flour
  • 4 Tsp Baking Soda
  • 1 Tbsp Ground Ginger
  • 2 Tsp Ground Cinnamon
  • 1 Tsp Salt
  • Additional Sugar
  • 2-12 oz Vanilla Baking Chips
  • 14 Cup Shortening

Directions

  1. Combine sugar and oil mix well
  2. Add eggs one at a time beating well after each addition
  3. Stir in molasses
  4. Combine dry ingredients gradually add to creamed mixture and mix well
  5. Shape in 34 inch balls and roll in sugar
  6. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheets
  7. Bake 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes cool
