Dipped Gingersnaps
Ingredients
- 2 Cups Sugar
- 1 12 Cups Vegetable Oil
- 2 Eggs
- 12 Cup Molasses
- 4 Cups Flour
- 4 Tsp Baking Soda
- 1 Tbsp Ground Ginger
- 2 Tsp Ground Cinnamon
- 1 Tsp Salt
- Additional Sugar
- 2-12 oz Vanilla Baking Chips
- 14 Cup Shortening
Directions
- Combine sugar and oil mix well
- Add eggs one at a time beating well after each addition
- Stir in molasses
- Combine dry ingredients gradually add to creamed mixture and mix well
- Shape in 34 inch balls and roll in sugar
- Place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheets
- Bake 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes cool
