Do-Ahead Egg Casserole

Ingredients

  • 8 slices bread
  • 10 eggs
  • 2 c milk
  • 12 tsp salt
  • 12 tsp dry mustard
  • dash of pepper
  • 8 oz pkg Cheddar cheese
  • 1 lb bacon cut up very small

Directions

  1. Butter slices of bread and decrust
  2. Lay butter side down in a 9 x 13-inch pan
  3. With mixer or blender beat eggs milk salt pepper and dry mustard
  4. Pour over bread
  5. Sprinkle cheese over egg mixture
  6. Place bacon uncooked on top
  7. Cover and refrigerate overnight
  8. Bake at 350 for 1 hour
