Ingredients
- 1 c Crisco
- 1 14 c sugar
- 3 eggs
- 12 c milk
- 2 - 3 c flour
- 12 c white wine
- 1 tsp anise seed
- rind from 1 lemon
- 3 tsp baking powder
Directions
- Mix sugar Crisco add eggs and beat well
- Add anise lemon rind milk baking powder and flour
- Last add wine to batter and beat well
- Pour batter into tube pan
- If desired sprinkle batter with sugar or confetti
- Bake at 350 for 1 hour
