Ingredients

  • 1 box Duncan Hines yellow cake mix
  • 23 c cooking oil
  • 23 c canned apricot juice
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 tsp lemon juice or lemon extract

Directions

  1. Mix all ingredients together
  2. Beat 2 minutes on medium speed
  3. Then 4 minutes on high speed
  4. Bake in a well-greased tube pan at 325 for 55 minutes or until done
  5. Let cool for a few minutes and then turn upside-down on plate
  6. With large cooking fork tines punch holes in cooled cake
