Double Crust Peach Cobbler

Ingredients

  • 8 cups fresh peaches peeled and sliced
  • 2 c sugar
  • 4 Tbsp flour
  • 14 tsp nutmeg
  • 14 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp almond extract
  • 13 c melted butter
  • Pastry for double-crust pie you can use refrigerated ready made crust

Directions

  1. Combine peaches sugar flour and spices
  2. Set aside until syrup forms
  3. Bring peaches to a boil
  4. Cook 10 minutes or until tender
  5. Remove from heat and blend in almond extract and butter
