Double Decadence Chocolate Chip Brownies
Ingredients
- 1 c sugar
- 23 c 1 stick 3 Tbsp margarine or butter softened
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 12 oz pkg semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 14 c all-purpose flour
- 1 c oats
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 12 c chopped nuts optional
- powdered sugar
Directions
- Heat oven to 350
- Lightly grease 13 x 9-inch baking pan Beat sugar margarine eggs and vanilla until smooth
- Add 1 cup chips melted mix well
- Add flour oats baking powder remaining cup of chips and the nuts mixing well
- Spread into prepared pan
- Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until brownies pull away from sides of pan
- Cool completely
- Sprinkle with powdered sugar if desired
- Cut into bars
- Makes 2 dozen
