Drambuie Pecan RoundsMakes 4 Dozen

Ingredients

  • 34 c softened butter
  • 1 egg
  • 2 14 c flour
  • pecan or walnut halves
  • 23 c sugar
  • 6 Tbsp Drambuie
  • 1 c confectioners sugar

Directions

  1. In mixing bowl cream butter and sugar
  2. Beat in egg and 3 tablespoons Drambuie
  3. Slowly add flour and mix well
  4. Shape dough into a 12-inch log
  5. Wrap dough in plastic wrap and chill for 1 hour or until firm
  6. Cut dough into 14-inch thick slices
  7. Place on ungreased cookie sheet
  8. Bake at 350 for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown
  9. Cool on wire rack
