Drunken Soldier Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 4 large baking potatoes
  • 1 stick butter melted
  • 1 c freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • paprika salt and pepper

Directions

  1. Scrub potatoes well do not peel
  2. Cut crosswise into 1-inch slices and stagger them like drunken soldiers in slanted rows in buttered 9 x 3-inch baking dish sort of leaning on each other Pour melted butter over potato slices covering all elapsed surfaces
  3. Sprinkle with cheese paprika salt and pepper
  4. Bake at 350 for 1 to 1 14 hours until deep golden brown and crisp Serves 8 people
